ON BOARD – SUSPENDED COVERS

PARTICIPATION AT THE ON BOARD-CHARTER 2013 PROJECT (2013)

For the trip from Marseille to Athens in 2013, the group Errands created a series of 8 covers out of fabric. These covers could dress any chair on board, plastic or not. The embodied hook could be attached on the boat’s rail allowed a seating passenger to lay his legs in a comfortable horizontal position, using the chair and the cover as a half hammock. The travelers of the “On Board” project were able to relax on the Errands covers creating a symbolic image of participation or group contemplation.
